Dear Friends,

Welcome to One Church! We appreciate you choosing us to be a part of your continued growth and success in the Kingdom of God. At One Church you can expect a multicultural, Christ-centered family environment with people of all ages, and practical teaching from the word God being boldly proclaimed. One Church fosters an atmosphere filled with praise and worship from genuine people, of all ages, that love Jesus and want to share that love with everyone, as their lives are changed through the Holy Spirit!

The vision for this church requires every part of the body to be actively engaged for it to be realized, and I am so grateful that you are choosing to be a part of our family! Our vision is to be a place where people can come embrace an intimate relationship with God, first, and grow to inspire others to do the same. We want to see people from every race, nationality, and creed brought into the family of Jesus by meeting them where they are so they can be who God created them to be and go out to share the love of Jesus with everyone they encounter. We are a church where revival takes place, as people’s lives are transformed by the power and presence of God! We are committed to helping people to discover who they are in Christ and do the work that the Lord has purposed for their lives. We have a lot of work to do, as our desire is welcome as many people as we can into the family of Jesus!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible truth of faith and conduct. The Bible is God’s Word to all people. Human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote it.

The Trinity

We believe in one God. He is the creator and ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; John 14:16-17

The Father - God

God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

Ex. 3:14; Num. 23:19; Lev. 11:44-45; 19:2; Ps. 11:4-6; Mal. 3:6; John 3:16; 4:24; 5:26; 14:1; Acts 17:28; Rom. 3:3-4

The Son - Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will come back for those who believe on Him and keep His commandments.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God and His presence, in our hearts, assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

John 15:26; 5; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God, in Hell, by sin or in union with God, in Heaven, through forgiveness and salvation.

John 3:16, 36; Rom. 6:23

Salvation

We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. When people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sin, and confess it with their mouth, they are saved. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism as an outward expression of an inward confession that you identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! According to the Bible, three things happen to believers who are baptized:
(1) They die with Christ to their old self;
(2) They rise with Christ to become and are a new creation;
(3) They are part of the kingdom citizenship

The Church

The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, obeying all His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

The Second Coming of Christ and Final Judgement

Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures. After living one life on earth, unbelievers will be judged by God and eternally separated from Him and tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels in the lake of fire. Believers will spend eternity with God in a conscious state of bliss thanking Him for all eternity for the victory of overcoming this life; they will enter eternal blessing.

Marriage

We believe that God wonderfully creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.

OUR HISTORY

One Church began in January 2026 by Pastor Pat & Sharonda Mayes. One Church, Inc. is an IRS Section 501(c) (3) non-profit cooperation.
